ClearView
ClearView is designed to optimizie the viewing experience of text and images on a TV display. Its small program size is well suited to devices that have limited memory capacity including cellular phone or PDA as well as addressing the display challenges faced in large screen devices such as TVs and car navigation systems.
ClearView can support various drawing functions and processes vector graphics and fonts in real time. It supports various scaling and rotation functions. Curve processing is one of the major features of ClearView. Only outline information is used for font data so hints information is unnecessary.
Removing the hints information from TrueType or Type1 fonts can shrink the size of the font data by as much as 50%. For ClearView, grayscale font is unnecessary, too.
It supports the Korean and Chinese as displayable languages as well as English and Japanese.
